Right now I am in West Palm Beach thawing out from about 8 feet of snow we have at home. The windows are blowing in a wonderful cool breeze from the ocean, such a pleasant change from the snow. I am writing this from Ethan’s twin bed. His Batman and Superman torso figurines are watching over me from across the room. Ethan and Cal are Lena’s freekin adorable children. Of course there are amazing pictures of them on every seagrass colored wall in the house. It’s like a scene in the ultimate disney movie. The house is perfectly decorated with gorgeous photos of their family everywhere. Those pictures in the Pottery Barn catalogs….that’s Lena’s house, right down to the jars of perfectly matched trinkets. So cozy and chic.
Tomorrow we begin the workshop at Lena’s studio. It’s a great group, and we hope to totally overwhelm them our super powers. I didn’t have room in my seventy plus pound suitcase to bring a camera, but I will shoot with one of Lena’s extras and get some action shots, that is if I can figure out how to shoot it manually.
Just before I left I snapped these with my point and shoot fuji. That’s almost 7 feet of snow, and since I left on Friday, we’ve added another 3 feet to that. Now our fence has completely disappeared. Of couse a snow picture wouldn’t be complete with our snow dog. He’s definitely at home, the more snow the better.

i’ll be back with more from the workshop.
