Helena O’Connor

Everyone, meet Helena! This is my husband’s, best friend’s, daughter. She’s 4 now, and beautiful as ever. Helena was a premie, and her parents, Kevin and Kelsie, have been taking her to physical therapy 5 days a week for years now, and finally Helena is starting to walk on her own, little by little. Helena suffers from a neurological disorder called Cerebral Palsy. She is probably the happiest child I’ve ever met. Her electric smile is so contagious. I was happy to capture some really fun moments we had on the boat. 

 

Let the Good News Roll…

Can there be anything else to make my year???  I didn’t think so either, but there is one more thing coming out. I’m excited now to also be getting a little love in Mitche Graf’s new book with Amherst Media due out in February 2009. Thank you Mitche!! You will see some pictures of my studio and of course eye candy marketing stuff as I am known for. Yay!!!

I cannot count the number of blessings I have. This is the second time this year I’ve been featured in Photographer Magazine. Such a huge honor. Thank you Angie for writing such a great article!!! I want to share it with all of you.

DWF featured me today!

 

Some of you reading this may not know exactly who or what the the heck DWF is. Well let me give you a little inside scoop into the world of a photographer. The DWF stands for Digital Wedding Forum. It is an online association where photographers from around the globe can exchange information and help each other out. An amazing network of literally the worlds best photographers. I’m humbled to be part of such an organization. It’s 5000 members strong, and the 10 best wedding photographers in the world are members of the DWF. Pretty special right? Well this fine morning I have been chosen as one of their featured photographers. I am not worthy to be in such company, so of course I have to share all the good news with y’all! I will also be teaching at the annual convention again this year.

 

Christy & Gregory Thunderbird Lodge

If you haven’t had a chance to see this jewel in Lake Tahoe’s North/East shore near Incline, you are missing a treasure. Christy & Gregory were fortunate enough to have their wedding at the incredible Thunderbird Lodge. It’s a historic landmark here at the lake. Christy & Greg had an incredible wedding for their family and friends. Not only did they get to enjoy the wonders of the Lodge, but also another incredible location for their reception was the Valhalla Grand Hall in South Shore. One word would sum up your wedding you guys….SPECTACULAR.
