Sometimes us fotogs just like to get together and have some fun too. We had a great get together at my studio the other day. after a few drinkies and some cocktail weenies we get a little stupid. great shots, glad we passed the cameras around

Right now I am in West Palm Beach thawing out from about 8 feet of snow we have at home. The windows are blowing in a wonderful cool breeze from the ocean, such a pleasant change from the snow. I am writing this from Ethan’s twin bed. His Batman and Superman torso figurines are watching over me from across the room. Ethan and Cal are Lena’s freekin adorable children. Of course there are amazing pictures of them on every seagrass colored wall in the house. It’s like a scene in the ultimate disney movie. The house is perfectly decorated with gorgeous photos of their family everywhere. Those pictures in the Pottery Barn catalogs….that’s Lena’s house, right down to the jars of perfectly matched trinkets. So cozy and chic.
Tomorrow we begin the workshop at Lena’s studio. It’s a great group, and we hope to totally overwhelm them our super powers. I didn’t have room in my seventy plus pound suitcase to bring a camera, but I will shoot with one of Lena’s extras and get some action shots, that is if I can figure out how to shoot it manually.
Just before I left I snapped these with my point and shoot fuji. That’s almost 7 feet of snow, and since I left on Friday, we’ve added another 3 feet to that. Now our fence has completely disappeared. Of couse a snow picture wouldn’t be complete with our snow dog. He’s definitely at home, the more snow the better.

i’ll be back with more from the workshop.
Did you know how many holidays we are missing out on every day? We miss so many reasons to celebrate every single day. For instance you may have missed out on National Clean off Your Desk day (which was last week) How can we miss out on these days? Why doesn’t my calendar have these milestone holidays printed for me? I feel so jipped. Well, I don’t want you to feel jipped, so here’s what we should celebrate today.
January 17th
Today, anyone who is Polish should should call in sick with Polish Freedom.
Today, anyone under the age of 9 should fake some clammy palms and a fever and conduct some science experiments in the darkness of their closet.
Today, when you head through the drive through at the in and out burger and you order a double cheeseburger, fries and a diet coke, complain when they don’t try to understand you, the customer, by offering you a real coke instead.
Today, if your name is Anthony you should call in sick and remind them that afterall, you are a saint. Just look at the history books people.
Today, if you find yourself traveling around the world in the throws of luxury and riches as a professional golfer, you should keep on golfing Tiger. The rest of you can take a break.
Today, anyone who invented swim fins, bi-focals, signed the Declaration of Independence and could tame lightning should call in sick today.
So it looks like I’m going home
Here’s some more fun images. This one of them leaving the city hall from their civil ceremony on Friday.

they were so cute when we stopped here. They literally ran to the end of the platform. They were so excited that it was official, they were now husband and wife.

this taken just outside the Louvre. We had about 3 minutes before the guys with machine guns took over.

here we are at Aurelia’s favorite building in Paris, the Opera. A spectacular building in sheer size. It was incredible.

I’m in editorial mode right now, so look out! I have plenty of weddings to submit to magazines, be on the lookout, your’s might find it’s way into some national magazines. Yippee! I had to share this one with you.

Everyone, meet little miss Hannah. A little history, I first met Joely at a Starbucks, April and Tara were also with her. April was Joely’s maid of Honor, and Tara Addeo, is April’s mom, and also the wedding coordinator for Joely. Little Hannah is April’s daughter. I knew the minute I saw little Hannah I had to have some pictures of her. The next day I insisted on taking some pictures of Hannah in the studio. Hannah has become the poster child for childrens portraits at the studio. You can easily see why. She’s adorable! She’s grown so much just since the first time I met her.

and here’s Hannah at Joely & Rich’s wedding. How can this child continue to get cuter and cuter every day? I don’t know, but she does!
